Corcoran Water Tower

Plat Location at Hope Church

Update: June, 2023. The contractor has begun excavation at the water tower site for the foundation in late May/early June. Initial erosion control measures and excavation activities will begin shortly with a significant amount of work to be completed on the tower foundation before the structure can be erected.

On October 27, 2022, the City Council approved a site plan, preliminary plat, and variance request for the City's first water tower. The location of this project is on the south side of 19951 Oswald Farm Road (Hope Community Church).

The approval and construction of this water tower is planned to coincide with the construction of the City's first Water Treatment Facility (located at 10120 County Road 116).

On October 27, 2022, the City Council approved three variances for this project. These included:
-A variance from the minimum lot size for the Public/Institutional District from 20 acres to 1.2 acres.
-An overhead door to be placed where it can be visible from the County Road.
-A drive aisle of 37 feet from the lot line was allowed where 50 feet would be required in the Public/Institutional District.
