- No, CodeRED is not a scam.

  • How can I sign up?

- Residents can sign up by:

- iPhone users: 1. Open App Store, 2. Search CodeRED Mobile Alert, 3. Click to download

- Android users: 1. Open Google Play Store, 2. Search CodeRED Mobile Alert, 3. Click to download

- Non-smart phone users: 1. Those without smart phones can have the city add you to the notification system, 2. Click here to enter in your information

  • Can I sign up even though I don't have smart phone?

- Yes! Those who do not use a smart phone can sign up by entering information into here.

- If you are a resident with a landline already residing in Corcoran, you have been enrolled.

  • How does the app work?

- CodeRED works by alerting residents via text message, email, or phone of public safety emergencies in their area. Any message regarding the safety, property, or welfare of the community will be disseminated using the CodeRED system. These may include AMBER alerts, notifications of hazardous traffic or road conditions, boil water advisories, or evacuation notices.

  • How do I sign up once I have downloaded the app?

- You have been enrolled once you download CodeRED and enter in your information.
